This project started in the fall of 2006 when working in Lodz, Poland. For six months I rarely spoke to strangers in the street due to the language barrier. I observed the culture and people through this time and drew portraits of people passing.

A collage of drawings have been pieced together and silkscreened on fine linen fabric; and hand sewn into tote bags

and pouches.
